Inspiring Young Futures

Venture Trust’s “Inspiring Young Futures (IYF)” programme aims to help vulnerable, “hard-to-reach” young care leavers and young carers (aged 16-19) to make a successful transition into adulthood and independent living. 

We’re currently looking to recruit:
1 x Positive Destination Adviser – based in Dundee(£19,500 – 22,500) under review

Candidates for the PDA posts will have experience of /qualifications in / working with young people who are or have been involved in the care system and the issues affecting young carers.  You will probably have a background in youth work, social work or community education. PDA’s will be required to recruit, assess, prepare and support young people throughout their journey through the programme.  The role also involves liaising with partner agencies/organisations and other referral services. 
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
